Our Mission

The Palouse Cult Film Revival celebrates the artistry and impact of cult cinema by curating screenings and events that unite passionate fans, engage curious newcomers, and showcase films that challenge convention. We are committed to enriching the cultural fabric of the Palouse through inclusive, community-driven programming, while giving back to our region through philanthropic initiatives that support local causes and foster creative growth.

The Palouse Cult Film Revival began over a night of drinks with friends.

We had three things we wanted to accomplish:

  1. Bring some of the most bizarre, nostalgic, hilarious cult classics from our living room to the greater community of people on the Palouse

  2. Provide a new opportunity for entertainment that brings people to come together and laugh together.

  3. Give back to our community by supporting local non-profits.

So we made it happen.

In 2018, we launched the very first PCFR at the Kenworthy Theatre! Our debut films were Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Troll 2, & The Room. In 2019, we showed Sleepaway Camp, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Best F(r)iends, and continued what is now a annual tradition of screening The Roomβ€”which included a special guest: Greg Sestero (aka Mark)!

After a Covid Hiatus, PCFR returned in 2022 with two new films being added to the PCFR books: Bleeders and Miracle Valley.

In 2025, we celebrate our 6th year of providing fun and laughs to our wonderful community!
